We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Agile Initiative Owner and Tribe Test Engineer to join our team. This key role involves driving the design and implementation of our testing strategy, defining best practices, and ensuring the effective selection and integration of testing tools across teams. As a vital member of our agile environment, you will ensure high-quality product delivery by aligning testing practices with business objectives and technical requirements.
In this role, you will also be responsible for the delivery and maintenance of various products within the tribe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Testing Strategy Design: Develop and manage the overall testing strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and agile methodologies. Collaborate with the Tribe Product Owner to meet business, functional, and technical requirements.
- Defining Testing Practices: Standardize methodologies (unit testing, integration testing, system testing, user acceptance testing) and promote a "shift-left" approach throughout the development lifecycle. Encourage the adoption of exploratory, automated, and modern testing techniques.
- Testing Tool Selection and Implementation: Identify, evaluate, and recommend the most effective testing tools. Lead proof-of-concept (POC) initiatives and oversee the integration of tools into CI/CD pipelines for seamless automated testing.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with key stakeholders to ensure that testing efforts are aligned with user expectations and product goals. Communicate strategies, progress, and results to both technical and non-technical teams.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in testing and agile practices.
- Technical Experience: Understanding of test automation frameworks, CI/CD practices, and familiarity with cloud-based testing environments, UI, API, and performance testing tools.
- Agile Expertise: Experience as the owner of testing initiatives within agile teams, aligning with sprint goals and delivery timelines. Strong collaboration with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and DevOps teams.
- Language Requirements: Proficiency in English; knowledge of French or Dutch is a plus.
