Support test management according to ISTQB

As an ISTQB certified test manager (m/f/d) you will ensure the quality of our customers' IT software systems.

The role:

An exciting professional challenge in the context of quality assurance is waiting for you.

In the customer project, you will carry out test management based on the ISTQB. The focus is in particular on test planning with resource estimation and a risk assessment to ensure the punctual completion of the test order. 

  • Assuming QA responsibility for several sub-projects within a considerable software development project.
  • Control of the test activities preceding the commissioning of the new or adapted software components.
  • Development of the test strategy, creation of the test concepts, definition of the test methods and tools, test planning, coordination of the test activities, tracking of defects.
  • Communication at all levels. Coaching and mediation between all parties involved in delivery and testing.
  • Documentation of activities, creation of reports
  • Project management, preparation of reports and proposals regarding continuous improvement, "lessons learned" in the testing process.

Location: hybrid working model, Stuttgart on site and / or home office

Your profile:

  • You have a technical degree or at least 5 years of professional experience in the field of software quality assurance.
  • You are certified in test management according to ISTQB Advanced Level.
  • You have significant project experience in planning and quality assurance of large software projects.
  • You have very good knowledge of the release management process and software lifecycle management.
  • You have a high level of communication skills, especially moderation and motivation skills.
  • You are characterised by your analytical and structured approach.
  • You have a very good command of written and spoken German. (C2 according to the European Framework of Reference for Languages)
