As a Senior Operations Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in our projects, collaborating with various teams to design and implement Linux-based applications.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing new applications on Linux servers and/or Containers (DevOps).
- Studying market solutions to enhance compute and storage infrastructure.
- Performing system operation activities, including setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Linux servers.
- Managing security patching and incident/problem management activities.
- Elaborating operational guidelines and procedures.
- Evaluating the quality and efficiency of operations through metrics.
We're looking for candidates who possess:
- A Master's degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
- Expertise in Red Hat Linux, Ansible, and Satellite for patch management.
- Strong scripting skills in Shell, Playbook, and Python.
- Excellent knowledge of ITIL best practices and ICT infrastructure.
- Experience in enterprise environments, including SAN technology.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies like ESX and vCenter.
- Knowledge of DevOps, Kubernetes/container technology, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Understanding of Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure), Hybrid Cloud, and hyperconverged environments.
