AISL-159 FinOps Manager

ABAKUS IT SOLUTIONS is looking for an experienced FinOps Manager to establish and lead FinOps activities within our organization. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic vision, leadership skills, and solid experience in cloud financial management. As a FinOps Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing FinOps strategies, policies, and processes to optimize cloud costs, improve financial visibility, and align spending with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement a comprehensive roadmap for FinOps.
- Establish standards and governance frameworks for cloud financial management.
- Define, track, and report key performance indicators for cloud cost management.
- Develop financial models to analyze cloud expenditures and identify savings opportunities.
- Prepare and analyze cloud cost reports and provide forecasts.
- Manage cost allocation and chargeback mechanisms for cloud expenses.
- Oversee budgeting processes and resource allocation for FinOps activities.
- Analyze cloud spending trends to identify areas for savings.
- Stay informed about new technologies and trends in the FinOps field.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in IT architecture, system design, and cloud technologies.
- Proven experience in a leadership role involving finance, IT, or cloud computing.
- Strong knowledge of platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Solid experience in budgeting and financial analysis.
- Ability to solve complex problems with data-driven solutions.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to influence and collaborate with various stakeholders.
- A formal FinOps certification is a plus.
- Demonstrated skills in managing and optimizing cloud costs.

A very good command of English is essential, the capacity to speak French, German or Dutch is an asset.
