AISL-159 FinOps Manager

ABAKUS IT SOLUTIONS is looking for an experienced FinOps Manager to establish and lead FinOps activities within our organization. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic vision, leadership skills, and solid experience in cloud financial management. As a FinOps Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing FinOps strategies, policies, and processes to optimize cloud costs, improve financial visibility, and align spending with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement a comprehensive roadmap for FinOps.
  • Establish standards and governance frameworks for cloud financial management.
  • Define, track, and report key performance indicators for cloud cost management.
  • Develop financial models to analyze cloud expenditures and identify savings opportunities.
  • Prepare and analyze cloud cost reports and provide forecasts.
  • Manage cost allocation and chargeback mechanisms for cloud expenses.
  • Oversee budgeting processes and resource allocation for FinOps activities.
  • Analyze cloud spending trends to identify areas for savings.
  • Stay informed about new technologies and trends in the FinOps field.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in IT architecture, system design, and cloud technologies.
  • Proven experience in a leadership role involving finance, IT, or cloud computing.
  • Strong knowledge of platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Solid experience in budgeting and financial analysis.
  • Ability to solve complex problems with data-driven solutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to influence and collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • A formal FinOps certification is a plus.
  • Demonstrated skills in managing and optimizing cloud costs.

Although open to technologies used by our customers, ABAKUS IT-SOLUTIONS seeks mainly but not only consultants mastering: Windows and Linux Servers, networks, developments (JAVA, SAP, .NET,…) as well as highly specialized experts for example in cybersecurity or in Content Management System (CMS) (SharePoint, Drupal, WebLogic…).

In terms of non-technical competencies, ABAKUS IT-SOLUTIONS hires dynamic persons, open to the world, interested by innovation and having a keen sense of client relationship.

A very good command of English is essential, the capacity to speak French, German or Dutch is an asset.

Even though most of our positions require at least 3 years of experience, some are open to new starters.
