AISG-0285 DevSecOps Engineer

In this role, you will take a central position and play a key role in developing, implementing and ensuring our DevOps and security strategies.

Working model: "hybrid work": in a mix of on-site in the Nuremberg area and your home office

Your tasks:

• Design, implementation and management of automated DevOps processes and tools to support an agile development cycle
• Ensuring the integration of security aspects in all development and operations phases (DevSecOps)
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure security standards and policies are adhered to
• Identifying security gaps and vulnerabilities in applications, infrastructure and processes through continuous monitoring and penetration testing
• Implement security measures and controls to minimise risks and meet compliance requirements (e.g. German BSI standards, ISO 27001)
• Configuring and managing security tools and platforms to detect and respond to security incidents
• Conduct training and awareness campaigns for the development team on secure coding practices and security awareness

Your profile:

• Completed studies in computer science, information security or a comparable education
• At least 3 years of professional experience in a similar position in the field of DevOps and information security
• Sound knowledge in the implementation and management of DevOps tools and processes (e.g. Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes)
• Extensive experience in integrating security into the DevOps lifecycle and in the application of security standards and frameworks (e.g. BSI-Grundschutz, CIS benchmarks)
• Proven experience in conducting penetration tests, vulnerability management and incident response
• Good knowledge of configuring and managing security tools and platforms (e.g. SIEM, WAF, IDS/IPS)
• Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
• Ability to work in a team, strong communication skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience in an understandable way
