AISB-245 Application Architect

We’re seeking a dynamic individual with a strong background in Java development, cloud technologies, and service-oriented architecture to join our client's team in Brussels! What you'll do:

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using Java (Java 8 and newer versions), ensuring the implementation of best practices and design patterns.
• Leverage your expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and cloud technologies (Azure, AWS) to create scalable, resilient, and efficient solutions.
• Architect and develop microservices and service-oriented applications using Azure Logic Apps, AWS Lambda, and other cloud-native tools.
• Provide technical consultation and advice on business analysis, project management, IT architecture, infrastructure, and security.
• Collaborate with our client's teams to build, design, and maintain secure, efficient, and scalable solutions using modern cloud technologies.
• Drive the adoption of Agile methodologies and ensure alignment with Agile values, principles, and ceremonies.
• Produce high-quality technical documentation, process diagrams, and architecture documentation.

What we're looking for:

Must-have skills:

• Proficiency in Java development and design patterns (Java 8 or newer).
• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Azure Resource Manager, AWS CDK, etc.).
• Strong experience with Azure and AWS Well-Architected Frameworks.
• Deep understanding of Service-Oriented Architecture and Microservices.
• Knowledge of applications design, business process analysis, and interoperability technologies (SOAP, REST, JSON).
• Experience in Containers management and CI/CD tools like Sonar, Maven, GIT, Jenkins, and Bamboo.
• Proven experience in developing web services (SOAP, REST, XML, XSD, JSON).

Desired experience:

• At least 3 years of experience in Java or C# development and Spring framework.
• At least 3 years of experience with Azure Logic Apps or AWS Lambda Functions.
• At least 3 years of experience in Solution Architecture and Infrastructure as Code.
• At least 2 years of experience with NoSQL databases like AWS DynamoDB or Azure Cosmos DB.
• At least 2 years of experience with Azure and/or AWS Well Architected Frameworks.
• Experience in Angular development.

Bonus skills:

• Familiarity with CEF Building Blocks.
• Experience in PKI and SSL certificates.
• Understanding of UML diagrams and modeling tools.
