AISB-262 IT Service Desk Consultant

Your Mission:

As an IT Service Desk Consultant, you’ll provide essential IT support by managing calls and emails, handling first and second-line services, and executing technical actions through our Helpdesk tool. You’ll have the opportunity to:

Technology Requirements:

To thrive in this role, you should have robust technical skills across several key areas:

Operating Systems & Software

  • Windows 10 & 11: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in usage, configuration, and troubleshooting.

  • Microsoft Office 365: Proficient in managing and supporting the suite, including Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint.

  • Software Knowledge: Familiarity with MS Visio and Adobe products for productivity and documentation purposes.

  • DOS Commands: Basic understanding of DOS command-line operations.

Network & Connectivity

·       TCP/IP: Knowledge of IP protocols, VLANs, Power over Ethernet (PoE), Wifi, and 802.1x authentication.

·       VOIP Systems: Experience with Voice over IP technology for setup and troubleshooting.

·       Basic IT Network Topology: Understanding of network configurations, horizontal cabling, and virtualization.

·       VPN Knowledge: Familiarity with Virtual Private Network setup and troubleshooting for secure remote access.

User Management & Security

  • Active Directory: Ability to manage user accounts, permissions, and directory services.

  • ITIL Certification: Essential for handling service management processes effectively and ensuring alignment with best practices.

  • Virtualization Technologies: Basic knowledge of VMware and software virtualization for managing and troubleshooting virtual environments.

Hardware & Devices

  • PC, Printers, and Peripherals: Competence in staging, configuring, and troubleshooting a range of user-oriented hardware.

  • Videoconferencing Equipment: Basic knowledge of videoconferencing setup and troubleshooting for meeting rooms.

  • Domotica: Familiarity with smart technology in meeting rooms for an optimized working environment.

  • Smartphones and GPRS: Troubleshooting skills for basic smartphone configurations and GPRS.

Communication & Process Management

  • Helpdesk Ticketing Tools: Experience with ticket creation, updates, and follow-up in a structured Helpdesk tool.

  • Process Adherence: Ability to respect established procedures, follow checklists, and maintain high standards in service delivery.

  • Analytical Skills: Capable of diagnosing and solving technical issues with a systematic and logical approach.

Location & Travel:

This role is based primarily in Schaerbeek A driver’s license and flexibility for travel are required.
