Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive security assessments of applications to identify vulnerabilities and weaknesses.
- Develop and implement strategies to mitigate security risks and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Stay informed about emerging threats and security trends, and provide guidance on mitigation strategies.
- Conduct security training and awareness programs for internal teams and clients.
- Participate in incident response activities and contribute to the resolution of security incidents.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- Proven experience in application security, with a strong understanding of common vulnerabilities and attack vectors.
- Familiarity with security assessment tools and techniques, such as static and dynamic analysis.
- Knowledge of secure coding practices and frameworks (e.g., OWASP Top 10).
- Experience in conducting security reviews of web and mobile applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex security concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CSSLP are a plus.

Although open to technologies used by our customers, ABAKUS IT-SOLUTIONS seeks mainly but not only consultants mastering: Windows and Linux Servers, networks, developments (JAVA, SAP, .NET,…) as well as highly specialized experts for example in cybersecurity or in Content Management System (CMS) (SharePoint, Drupal, WebLogic…).
In terms of non-technical competencies, ABAKUS IT-SOLUTIONS hires dynamic persons, open to the world, interested by innovation and having a keen sense of client relationship.
A very good command of English is essential, the capacity to speak French, German or Dutch is an asset.
Even though most of our positions require at least 3 years of experience, some are open to new starters.
