AISL-139 Cloud Solution Architect
As a Cloud Solution Architect, you'll be at the heart of our customer-focused function, collaborating with expert solution architects, AWS cloud architects, and software engineers to design cutting-edge solutions.
Your role will involve understanding customer needs, crafting comprehensive hybrid cloud architectures, and leading the implementation of AWS cloud solutions while fostering trust and partnership with our clients.
Key responsibilities:
- Understanding customer needs: Act as a trusted advisor to our clients, collaborating closely to grasp their technical requirements and business objectives.
- Architecture development: Design innovative hybrid cloud architectures leveraging AWS and other cloud services, ensuring alignment with customer budgets and requirements.
- Cloud migration: Lead projects involving cloud migration, AWS migration acceleration program (MAP), containerization, and microservices.
- Cost awareness: Develop cost-effective solutions while nurturing a relationship of trust with our clients.
- Technical leadership: Serve as a subject matter expert on AWS, providing guidance to internal teams and customers while resolving complex technical issues.
- Customer discovery: Scope out existing technology solutions and support our recommended technical approach.
- Solution implementation: Oversee the architecture during the implementation of AWS cloud solutions, ensuring successful delivery.
- Troubleshooting: Provide timely resolution and troubleshooting assistance for complex technical issues related to AWS technology.
- Knowledge sharing: Stay updated on emerging trends in AWS and share insights with colleagues to foster a culture of learning and innovation.
Qualifications and experience:
- Experience in solution architecture or a senior technical role with a focus on AWS Cloud technology.
- In-depth knowledge of AWS and their partner programs.
- Proven track record of designing complex cloud solutions.
- Strong understanding of virtualization, networking, storage, and security concepts.
- Hands-on experience with Java application servers, container technologies, Linux OS, and DevOps practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Required skills:
- Expert knowledge of AWS technology, certifications as an AWS professional solutions architect.
- Proficiency in Weblogic 14, Wildfly v26+, Java technologies, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud security.
- Advanced knowledge of operating systems, networking, and monitoring systems.
- Experience with automation tools such as Ansible and familiarity with integration platforms.
Desirable skills:
- Certifications in VMware, Linux, or similar technologies.
- Familiarity with storage technologies and ServiceNow ITSM.
